Russian team arrives in Korla of Xinjiang for IAG competitions

KORLA, July 18 (ChinaMil) -- A 18-member Russian team arrived Tuesday in Korla, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. This is the first foreign team arriving in Korla for International Army Games (IAG) 2017. The self-prepared hardware of the team also arrived on the same day by railway transportation.

Members of the Russian team said that they will conduct adaptability training in the next few days, and look forward to exchanging military skills with teams from other countries.

The Suvorov Attack, Clear Sky, Safe Environment and Gunsmith Master, four competitions of the IAG 207 hosted by the Chinese PLA Army, will take place in Korla from July 29 to August 12. A total of 23 teams from ten countries including China, Russia, Egypt, and Iran will compete in these events.
