EQUIPMENT

GAZ 2330 Tigr armored vehicle.

MTO-UB1 maintenance vehicle.

REM-KL maintenance-recovery vehicle.

START

Two crews start simultaneously, with the next ones driving with a 30 minutes' interval (four crews on the route max).

ROUTE

The route is 3-4 km long and equipped with obstacles, sites for special tasks and objectives performance.

SPECIAL TASK SITE

1. Railway car unloading with the help of a crane-manipulator, accuracy test (Point #1).

2. Special task site for recovery of a stuck vehicle by means of a REM-KL recovery equipment (Point #2).

3. For REM-KL: site for REM-KL and a vehicle uncoupling. (Point #3).

START

SPECIAL TASK SITE

1. Lifting works site (BREM-1 reloads the cargo on to the targeted spot, accuracy test) (Point #1).

2. Suspension wheel replacement site (Pint #2)

3. Site for a stuck tank recovery (deployment of a 75 t block and tackle system is to be prepared) (Point #3).

4. Site for a REM-KL and a tank uncoupling (Point #4)

COMPETITORS

Nine servicemen of each team

CONDITIONS

The teams are to fire standard weapons at specially equipped zones of a firing range. Four servicemen (one from each team) are at the range.

DISMOUNTING INFANTRY: TWO FULL SIZE MAN-FIGURES

Visible during 20 sec.

On a line of 6-8 m.

Target range – 400 m.

ATTACKING GROUP: TWO FULL SIZE MAN-FIGURES

Visible during 30 sec.

On a 10 m wide line and depth of 5 m

Target range – 25 m.

ATTACKING INFANTRY GROUP: TWO FULL SIZE MAN-FIGURES

Visible during 20 sec.

On a line of no less than 3 m.

Target range – 300 m.

HAND GRENADE SIMULATOR

Is thrown at two attacking shooters (two full size man-figure targets).

Visible during 20 sec on a line of 6-8 m.

Location – 10 m wide and 5 m deep.

Target range – 25 m.

LYING INFANTRYMEN (TWO FIGURES): LIGHT MACHINE GUN AND A SHOOTER

Visible during 30 sec.

On a line of no less than 6 m.

Target range – 200 m.

BREAST FIGURE WITH ROUNDS

0.75x0.75 meters

Time for shooting: First firing session (trial) – 20 seconds Second firing session – 12 seconds Third firing session – 10 seconds Fourth firing session – 8 seconds Interval between firing sessions – 10 seconds Distance – 25 meters

Crews of REM-KL

START

Two teams start simultaneously; the next ones do with 30 minutes' interval.

ROUTE

The route is 3-4 km long and equipped with obstacles, sites for special tasks and objectives performance.

SPECIAL TASK SITE

1. Crews of REM-KL pass the baton to crews of BREM-1 after the REM-KL crew overcomes the railway platform (Point #1)

2. The servicemen are to change the suspension wheel of BREM-1 (Point #2)

3. Crew of BREM-1 vehicle passes the baton to the MTO-UB1 crew

PENALTIES FOR WHEELED VEHICLES

— An anti-tank ditch with a passage: movement without speed reduction and touching limiting poles or obstacle walls.

— Driving a vehicle into the cover position, a limited dimensions passage: touching limiting poles.

— Railway platforms, trenches: toppling.

— A hill, a ditch with a track bridge, a slope, a track, a sandy area, fording a water obstacle: stopping on/in them.

PENALTIES FOR TRACKED WEHICLES

— Turns between poles, antitank ditch with a passage, limited dimensions passage with turns, maneuvering area, straight limited dimensions passage on the slope, water obstacle fording (0,8- 1 m deep): touching poles, limiting elements or obstacle boundaries.

— Model of a track bridge: toppling.

— Track passage in maneuvering area: hitting a mine.

RESULTS

Nomination prizewinners are defined by the first three stages results. The results of each stage are brought into a rating table. A score of a team (a participator, a crew, a detachment) at each stage determines their position in the rating table. The top score resulted in the first three stages decides a winner in each nomination. The winning team shows best results in the final stage. The team has to score maximum points for speed, obstacle overcoming technique and quality of special tasks performance.

AWARDING

Winner and prize winners are awarded in team event – a cup and medals for top place, medals for second and third places; in nominations – valuable gifts and medals for first, second and third places.
