Chinese Embassy in DPRK holds Army Day reception

PYONGYANG, July 26 (ChinaMil) -- The Chinese Embassy in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a reception on Monday evening to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).

Chinese Ambassador Li Jinjun to DPRK, Military Attaché Yang Xuguang of the Chinese Embassy, members of the Chinese working group for the protection and management of Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) martyrs memorial facilities in the DPRK, Chinese media reporters in the DPRK and the visiting Chinese Martyrs Glorification Promotion Association delegation as well as the China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development delegation participated in the reception.

Senior military officials from DPRK's People's Armed Forces, diplomatic envoys and military attachés from embassies of world countries in DPRK, representatives of international organizations in the DPRK, were invited to the reception.

During the reception, guests watched the "Journey of Glory" photo exhibition held by the Chinese Embassy on celebration of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese PLA and a documentary titled "Today's Chinese Armed Forces 2017".
