Wang Guanzhong returns to China after visiting Macedonia and Hungary

  BUDAPEST, August 14 (ChinaMil) -- Lieutenant General Wang Guanzhong, deputy chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), left Budapest for China on the afternoon of August 13, 2014, local time, after finishing his official goodwill visit to Macedonia and attending the first China-Hungary defense strategic consultation.

  During his visit, Wang Guanzhong held separate talks and meetings with Zoran Konjanovski, Macedonian defense minister, Lieutenant General Goranco Koteski and Sejdini, respectively chief and deputy chief of general staff of the Macedonian Army, and Peter Siklosi, deputy state secretary at the Ministry of Defense of Hungary.

    The two sides had in-depth exchanges of views on deepening the China-Macedonia and China-Hungary military mutual trust and expanding the bilateral pragmatic exchange and cooperation.

  Leaders of the Macedonian and Hungarian militaries noted that they attach great importance to the relations with the Chinese PLA and stand ready to actively promote the continuous development of bilateral defense and military cooperation.
