BEIJING, November 9 (ChinaMil) -- The fifth-generation medium fighter Gyrfalcon (FC-31), independently developed by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), debuted at the Dubai Airshow on November 8, 2015.

This was the first time that Gyrfalcon was exhibited overseas after its aerobatic flight and static model display at the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) in Zhuhai in 2014.

It is introduced that Gyrfalcon is a fifth-generation fighter with high performance-price ratio and excellent overall combat capability, boasting such typical characteristics as omnibearing high stealth capability and advanced task system.

Gyrfalcon's appearance at the Dubai Airshow 2015 engages in the international arms trade market on a large scale and at close range, indicating that China's exports of air weapon and equipment are marching toward high-end international arms trade platform and completing the transition from exporting conventional equipment to exporting advanced warplane.
