PLA Navy chief starts visit to Malaysia, Indonesia and Maldives

BEIJING, Nov. 10 (ChinaMil) -- A Chinese military delegation left Beijing on Monday to start its official goodwill visit to Malaysia, Indonesia and Maldives.

The delegation is headed by Commander of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Admiral Wu Shengli, who is also member of China's Central Military Commission (CMC).

Admiral Wu Shengli and his delegation's three-nation visit is conducted upon invitation of Commander of the Royal Malaysian Navy Admiral Abdul Aziz Jaafar, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy Admiral Ade Supandi and Chief of Maldives National Defense Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam.
