Chinese naval taskforce 152 visits East Timor’s primary school

DILI, January 20 (ChinaMil) -- Students of a primary school of Dili, East Timor welcomed the arrival of a special group sent by the Chinese naval taskforce 152 on the afternoon of January 18, 2016.

There are around 500 students in the school and most of them are from middle to lower income families.

The group led by Ye Jianlin, political commissar of the Chinese naval taskforce152, received a warm welcome of dancing and singing performed by students at the school gate at 15:00.

The group prepared wonderful performances and provided free medical services for the students.

Li Xingyun, a Chinese special operations member, performed Shaolin Kongfu, impressing all the teachers and students, and after the show, he was surrounded by the excited students who wanted to shake hands with him.

At the same time, 12 medical team members were divided into 4 teams to provide health examination for the students in the classrooms.

After receiving the examination results of these students, José Magno, Director General of East Timor’s Ministry of Health, said to Pan Zhulin, director of the medical team of the Guided-missile destroyer Jinan of the Chinese naval taskforce 152 that “I really appreciate the help from the Chinese navy. You came here to provide free medical examination and help students develop good health habits. This means a lot to East Timor’s health industry and it will contribute to the cooperation in the health field between our two countries.”
