Visiting Chinese navy fleet extends regards to Indonesian Orphanage

JAKARTA, Jan. 27 (ChinaMil) -- A regards-sending team from the Chinese naval taskforce 152 came to the Western Orphanage of Indonesian Navy on Jan. 26, local time, to greet children living in the orphanage.

Founded in 1996, Western Orphanage of Indonesian Navy has 34 orphans now.

The regards-sending team members arrived at the orphanage at about 10:00 and received warm welcome from the children .

Three team members put on such performances as singing songs, playing suona horn and cucurbit flute solo for the children. Afterwards, a soldier of the special operation unit of the taskforce performed Chinese kungfu for the children. Their wonderful performances won applause from the children.

Sen. Capt. Ye Jianlin, political commissar of the Chinese naval taskforce 152, presented gifts such as schoolbags and footballs to the orphanage.

The Chinese naval taskforce 152 arrived on Jan. 24 in Jakarta for a five--day visit, which is the final stop of its trip around the globe.
