Chinese ambassador to Lebanon visits Chinese peacekeeping troops

BEIRUT, Feb. 24 (ChinaMil) -- Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Jiang Jiang, accompanied by Yang Jun, military attaché of the Chinese Embassy, came to camp of the 14th Chinese peacekeeping engineer detachment to Lebanon to extend his Lantern Festival greetings to the troops of the detachment on Monday morning.

Sun Zhi, who is commanding officer of the Chinese peacekeeping force to Lebanon, on behalf of the multi-function engineer detachment, construction engineer detachment and the medical detachment, reported the peacekeeping missions of the Chinese peacekeeping force to Jiang Jiang.

Jiang Jiang spoke highly of the achievements of the14th Chinese peacekeeping force. He also visited the Chinese culture display and the display of explosives found by Chinese peacekeepers in minesweeping operations.
