The PLA Operational Command Training Data Service Center was established recently in the Engineering Institute of the Engineer Corps of the PLA University of Science and Technology, and its establishment will facilitate the sharing of resources in the process of operational command training and development of simulation systems. It will also help bring about comprehensive enhancement of simulated, network and information-based training of the PLA troops in operational command drills.

　　It is learned that the center is to shoulder the missions of collecting, sorting out, validating and releasing operational command training data of all the services and arms at various levels. In addition, it will formulate data standards for the operational command training system, and standardize data engineering project of the whole army, and undertake the missions of training personnel for and providing technical services to database system in operation of various troops.
