A fortress garrison command of the Ji'nan Military Area Command pays attention to carrying out actual field operation trainings under informationization conditions, in a bid to foster its troops' courageous and tenacious fighting spirit and the spirit of daring to fight and daring to win. Recently, the reporter saw at a training ground of the garrison command that the enthusiasm of the officers and men were running high in the military training in the face of complex battlefield environments and various dangerous situations.

　　Since the military training kicked off early this year, this garrison command has, in light of the characteristics of its troops stationed on islands, boldly reformed its training methods to persist in carrying out multi-arms, multi-subjects, all-time-span and full-strength training under war conditions, and made constant explorations to seek new growth points for its fighting power.

　　In mid-August this year, it took its officers and mento some isolated islands in batches to undergo field survival training, in which it put its troops through 17 training subjects in light of the need of actual combat, including penetration reconnaissance, seabed demining operation and so forth. All these training subjects had been carried out under war conditions, and thus the full training process was full of the smell of gunpowder.
