　　In the past few days, an artillery regiment of the Beijing Military Area Command staged a thousand mile maneuver during which it successfully conducted drillings of more than 10 subjects including assaulting fortified positions, breaking through barriers, resisting the "enemy" counter offensive, striking in far-flung depth and rush-repairing and so on. The drillings were also highlighted by good scores of hitting the targets by the first shelling and storming all the "enemy" positions by the first volley fire.
