Shandong PMC launches snow fighting campaign

  In the past few days, the Shandong Provincial Military Command (PMC) has organized the officers and men of the troops stationed in Yantai and Weihai to fight continuously against snow disaster with might and main at the frontline together with the militiamen and reservists, and for which it won high praises form the governments and people in disaster-stricken areas. By Dec. 21, more than 50,000 person/times of officers and men, militiamen and reservists had been sent to participate in the disaster relief activities, and they had helped the local people to repair 100-odds old and dangerous rooms and clear 500-odd plastic sheds and greenhouses covered by heavy snow.
