and everlasting spiritual monument---in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of
the victory of the Red Army's Long March".
The editorial states that the Long March is a strategic maneuver staged
under compulsion by the Red Army under the leadership of the Communist Party of
China when the Party and the Red Army were staring at the grave crisis of life
and death and the Chinese nation was in face of a critical moment of national
crisis, a heroic undertaking full of daring accomplished by the Communist Party
of China and the people's army led by it, a glorious epic imbued with the heroic
struggles waged by the Chinese nation, and likewise a peerless spiritual
monument towering in the revolutionary history of mankind.
The article further states that the victory of the Long March greatly
