Commanders going down to grassroots to offer help

english.chinamil.com.cn 2007-02-09

To see to it that all the officers and men serving at the frontier will enjoy a warm, blissful and auspicious Spring Festival, 210 leading cadres at and above regiment level from the Inner Mongolia Military Command have gone down recently--each with a working group, to more than 110 duty posts to relieve the officers and men of worries and help solve their problems. As of now, they have helped almost 100 grassroots officers and men solve difficulties that the latter have run into in their work and life, and have handed out seasonal gifts worth of more than 1.2 million yuan.
