A special performance organized by the General Political Department ( GPD) of the PLA as an expression of gratitude for appreciation to the veteran cadres who originally served in the troop units stationed in Beijing before retirement was held on Feb.10 in the China Grand Theater. Before the performance, Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department, called on and extended greetings to the veterans who came to watch the show, during which he spoke highly of the veterans for showing concern for and offering support to the national development and the army building, and for that mater, he expressed his gratefulness to them.

　　Deputy Director Liu Yongzhi and Assistant Directors Tong Shiping and Jiang Jichu of the General Political Department were in company of the veterans in watching the show.
