Naval representative office develops new type of battery

　　A new type of home-made storage battery developed under the supervision of a military representative office of the Armaments Department of the PLA Navy has been endorsed by experts not long ago and is now at the stage of sample trial production. It will soon be made available to the troops. According to the briefing, thanks to the 20-odd technological innovations and technical improvement, the durability of this new type of storage battery doubles that of the previous ones and its various technological index have by far outstripped the rest in China.
