english.chinamil.com.cn 2007-02-25

PYONGYANG, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Saturday lashed out at the United States for conducting a series of aggressive air exercises against it in South Korea.

Dozen of F-117 Stealth fighter bombers and formations of F-15 fighter bombers were busy with navigation drills and exercises of striking in South Korea on Feb. 23, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted military sources as saying.

"(Such exercises) are dangerous military provocations to the DPRK and a clear expression of their intention to stifle it by force of arms," said the KCNA.

U.S. air force in South Korea has started a series of military exercises since last Thursday.
