On the afternoon of May 29, the General Staff Headquarters of the PLA organized a theatrical show by the August 1 Children's Art Troupe in celebration of the International Children's Day (June 1). On behalf of Liang Guanglie, member of the Central Military Commission and chief of general staff of the PLA, Ge Zhenfeng, deputy chief of general staff of the PLA, congratulated the children on their festival and extended cordial regards to the teachers working on the front of children education.

　　Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department of the PLA, came to the kindergarten of the General Political Department yesterday to celebrate the International Children's Day together with the children and extended sincere greetings to the broad teachers working on the front of children education.

　　Li Jinai noted that as the leading body in charge of the children education work in the PLA, the General Political Department should do well in managing the work of children education, further upgrade the teaching quality and management support level, and do a better job in the construction of the kindergartens in accordance to the requirements of the scientific outlook on development.

　　Liao Xilong, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Logistics Department of the PLA, came to the kindergarten of the General Logistics Department on the afternoon of May 29 to celebrate joyfully the International Children's Day together with the children. Liao Xilong watched the performance put on by the Children's Art Troupe of the General Logistics Department with great interests, and presented festive gifts to the children.

　　The teachers and children of the kindergartens from various Beijing-stationed units of the General Armaments Department of the PLA put on a theatrical show in celebration of the International Children's Day on the afternoon of May 25. Chen Bingde, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Armaments Department of the PLA, watched the show, congratulated all the children of the units under the General Armaments Department on their festival and extended cordial greetings to all those doing children work.
