On September 6, Liang Guanglie, member of the Central Military Commission and chief of general staff of the PLA, came to the Anti-Chemical Command and Engineering College to celebrate the 23^rd Teacher's Day with college faculties. He extended festive greetings and cordial regards to all the teachers and staff working hard at military educational front on behalf of the Party committee, leaders and leading body of the PLA General Staff Headquarters.

　　On September 6, Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the PLA General Political Department, attended a colloquium on the Teacher's Day in the Art College of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, during which he pointed out that the important speech made by Chairman Hu Jintao at the National Outstanding Teachers' Representatives Seminar had fully demonstrated the great importance attached to the educational cause and the kind concern for all the educational workers by the Central Committee of the CPC. We must earnestly study and understand the spirit of the speech, make new and greater contributions to the educational cause of the army and greet the 17^th National Congress of the CPC with outstanding achievements.

　　Du Jincai, assistant director of the PLA General Political Department also attended the colloquium.

　　On the morning of 7^th September, Liao Xilong, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the PLA General Logistics Department, met in Beijing with 56 representatives of outstanding teachers working at the educational front of the PLA General Logistics Department. He extended festive greetings and cordial regards to all the teachers and staff working assiduously at the military logistics educational front on behalf of the Party committee, leaders and leading body of the PLA General Logistics Department.

　　Political Commissar Sun Dafa and Deputy Directors Sun Zhiqiang and Li Maifu of the PLA General Logistic Department also participated in the meeting.

　　On September 7, at a Seminar of the Outstanding Teachers' Representatives from the units under the PLA General Armaments Department (GAD) based in Beijing, Chen Bingde, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the PLA General Armaments Department, urged the officers and men of the GAD at various levels and all the teachers in the GAD to earnestly study and carry out the spirit of Chairman Hu Jintao's important speech at the National Outstanding Teachers' Representatives Seminar and push for better and faster development of the building of colleges and schools affiliated to the GAD and the educational work for the children of servicemen of the GAD.

　　Political Commissar Chi Wanchun and Deputy Political Commissar Huang Zuoxing of the GAD also attended the seminar.
