GAZA, April 15 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian militant was killed and two
civilians wounded early on Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike on Beit Lahia town in
northern Gaza Strip, witnesses and medics said.
The armed wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine
(DFLP) confirmed in a leaflet sent to reporters that one of its militants was
killed in an Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza Strip.
Witnesses said that an Israeli drone plane fired one missile directly at
Ibrahim Abu O'lba, 34, as he walked in the town, killing him and wounding two
other bystanders.
Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources said that a special Israeli army
force backed by armored vehicles stormed early on Tuesday the eastern area of
al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
Clashes erupted in the area between militants and Israeli soldiers, no
injuries were reported, according to the sources.
Residents said that an Israeli aircraft fired one missile at the militants,
no injuries were reported.
Another Israeli army force stormed into an area east of the southern Gaza
Strip town of Khan Younis, said the residents, adding that Palestinian militants
clashed with the invading Israeli forces, no injuries were
reported.
