Chinese embassy hosts reception to mark Army Day

  DHAKA, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese embassy in Bangladesh held a reception here Wednesday to celebrate the Army Day which marks the 81 years' anniversary of founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

  More than 200 guests including former President Hussain Muhammad Ershad, Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam, Chief of the Air Force Air Marshal Ziaur Rahman, representatives of the Chinese companies in Bangladesh and some foreign diplomats were invited to attend the reception.

  During the reception, many Bangladeshi guests talked about the forthcoming Beijing Olympic Games with their Chinese friends. They wish the great sports event a success.
