english.chinamil.com.cn 2008-11-18

The Medical Support Department of the General Hospital of the PLA lined up the employed personnel to receive inspection from the leaders of the hospital on the morning of Nov. 16, with the aim to enforce paramilitary management on these employees.

Currently, the employed personnel in the department take up 53.6% of all the staff and have become an important force in business development. Over the last three years, the department came up with a series of management and training systems and put in place a four-dimensional mode of management, to wit, regular ideological education, normalized military training, institutionalized skill training and dynamic everyday management.

The department sees to it that two months will be set aside for intensive military training every year in order to enhance the military qualities of the employees. It has opened evening school and put in place the systems of professional training and skill competition. Thanks to these efforts, the department has forged a support contingent of employed personnel that has the qualities of being trustworthy politically, reliable in work style and perfect at skill.
