Film and TV festival held in the army to mark the 100th anniversary of Deng Xiaoping's birth

  　Recently, the Publicity Department of the General Political Department of the PLA released a notice calling on the whole army to sponsor the "Film and TV Festival Marking the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Comrade Deng Xiaoping".

　　The notice points out that, in order to carry through the spirit of Notice on Sponsoring Activities Marking the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Comrade Deng Xiaoping in the Army issued by the General Political Department of the PLA, the film and TV festival should be carried out throughout the army.

　　A host of excellent films and telecines such as Baise Uprising, the Great Decisive Engagement, the Grand March, the Great Turning Point, Deng Xiaoping in 1929, etc. would be shown from July 20 to August 30.
