Romanian experts and diplomats of
Chinese embassy in Romania have held a forum "Cherishing the Memory of
Deng Xiaoping" in Bucharest Wednesday.
The former Romanian ambassador to
China Dumit Rescu said that Deng Xiaoping's theory of emancipating the
mind and seeking truth from the facts made China become the great
political and economic power it is today.
The country's former Prime Minister
Manea Manescu also said Deng Xiaoping was a strong-willed politician.
Over 100 Romanian and Chinese
diplomats attended the
forum.
