BEIJING, Aug. 17
(Xinhuanet) -- A photo exhibition has opened in HK to commemorate the 100th
anniversary of the birth of Deng Xiaoping.
Organizers praised
the leader's great achievements at the opening ceremony Monday, saying that
Deng Xiaoping's concepts of "One Country, Two Systems" and "Hong Kong People
Governing Hong Kong with a high degree of autonomy" still provide guidance for
the region.
More than 100 photos are being exhibited.
The main theme is the "Luohu Bridge," which joins Hong Kong and its
neighboring city, Shenzhen, and also represents the ideal of "One Country, Two
Systems."
