Deputy Huang: Defend reunification of China by law, resolutely fight against secessionist forces

"Taiwan is
a part of the sacred territory of the People's Republic of China. The
accomplishment of the great cause of national reunification is the common
aspiration of the Chinese people, including our Taiwan compatriots," said NPC
deputy Huang Gaocheng at the third full meeting of the PLA delegation. All facts
show that the behaviors of the "Taiwan independence" secessionist forces have
imposed serious threat to the national sovereignty and territorial integrity,
seriously dented the prospect of peaceful reunification, gravely undermined the
fundamental interest of the Chinese nation and badly threatened the peace and
stability across the Taiwan Straits and that of the Asia/Pacific region. It is
necessary and timely to enact the Anti-secession Law. The People's Liberation
Army has the resolve, the confidence and the capability to crush any scheme and
attempt to split the motherland and to resolutely defend the national
sovereignty and territorial integrity.
