For days, the officers and
men of the “4th Sharpshooters Company” of a mechanized division of the Shenyang
Military Area Command have earnestly studied the Anti-Secession Law. They
indicated one after another that they would bear firmly in mind the lofty
mission of the army, speed up the mechanization and informationization drive and
use their first-rate military skill to defend the sovereignty and integrity of
the motherland.
This company was awarded the honorary title the “ 4th Sharpshooters
Company” in 1964 by the Chinese Ministry of National Defense. When the
Anti-Secession Law was adopted at the Third Session of the Tenth National
People's Congress with a thumping majority of votes, the officers and men of the
company spoke eagerly about their inner most thoughts and feelings.
Inspired by the enactment of the Anti-Secession Law, the officers and men
of the “Flood-Fighting and Disaster Relief Model Regiment” of the Nanjing
Military Area Command are determined to constantly enhance their sense of
mission and resolutely support the law by drilling hard at their own post so as
to support the law with their concrete action.
For days, the officers and men of the regiment honored by the Central
Military Commission as the “Flood-Fighting and Disaster Relief Model Regiment”,
has earnestly studied the Anti-Secession Law and carried out discussion among
themselves on “how to safeguard the authority and sanctity of the law” so as to
guide the officers and men to have clear understanding of the situation, bear
firmly in mind their lofty mission and enhance their sense of mission and
urgency to step up the preparations for military struggle. Through study and
discussion, the officers and men have become more active and high-spirited in
drill. In a place completely unexpected and unfamiliar to the troops, the
artillery detachment skillfully employed quick reaction system in tactical drill
while the signal communication support detachment overcame various electric
interferences to ensure the smooth communication in mobile operation.
