Yesterday, the PLA Air Force aviation troops flew 27 sorties in 12 waves scoring all hits by all the fighters and bombers that fired or dropped dozens of missiles and bombs, thus successfully accomplishing the tasks in the forcible separation operation of the China-Russia Joint Military Exercise. Experts watching the exercise say that the success has demonstrated that the distance precision striking ability of the PLA Air Force has achieved a fresh leap forward.

　　At 10:46am, with a soaring signaling shot, fully-armed new type of fighters took off one after another with bombs from an airport. After re-fueling in the air, the fighters group in condensed formation making long-distance raids entered the air space of action at the designated time and searched for the dotted targets on the ground. 10 seconds, 9 seconds…3 seconds, 2 seconds and one second' at exactly the preset attacking time, the fighters launched all the missiles, pulled up quickly and gone. All these were finished before the roaring sound of the aircraft could be heard, leaving the cylindrical target first shrouded by soaring smoke and then leveled to the ground in no time.
