BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- China's leading newspaper, People's Daily, is to issue a commentary on Monday, calling on the people to grasp the spirit of the speech made by Chinese President Hu Jintao on Saturday to work hard for the nation's rejuvenation.

　　The speech the president made at the commemoration of the 60^th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and World Anti-fascist War is an important document and a valuable textbook of patriotism.

　　It is also a program of action to mobilize all members of the Communist Party of China and people of all nationalities in building a moderately prosperous society and speed up the country's socialist modernization, the commentary says.
