Yesterday was the International Working Women's Day,
Xu Caihou, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and vice
chairman of the Central Military Commission, accompanied by Li Jinai, member
of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department of
the PLA, paid a visit to 23 PLA female deputies attending the
4th Session of the 10th NPC on behalf of the leaders of
the PLA Delegation. He extended festive greetings and cordial regards to them,
and through them, to all women comrades in the PLA.
Participating in the visit was also Jiang Jichu, assistant director of the
PLA General Political Department.
