On the Long March (oil painting)
The Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in 1930s is
an event of immense significance in the history of Chinese people's revolution
and a great feat in world military history. Climbing over the steep high
mountains, crossing the torrential rivers, traversing the mysterious grasslands,
and breaking through the encirclement, pursuit, obstruction and interception of
one million Kuomintang troops...the Red Army, who shouldered the expectation of
the nation, accomplished a great expedition of the spirit and willpower
of humankind by overcoming numerous difficulties and dangers.
