At 17:30 on August 20, a girl student from the People's University of China became the last audience of Our Troops March towards the Sun- the Exhibition of Achievements in the Building of National Defense and Army Since the Founding of the New China. The exhibition started on July 16 and lasted for 36 days, which has drawn audience of 2.48 million person-times and nearly 10,000 units for group visit, with a daily average audience reception of nearly 70,000 people and 43,000-odd messages from audience. It has created the highest records of total audience and daily average audience in domestic temporary theme exhibitions.

　　According to Guo Dehe, director of the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, the exhibition will be set as a regular exhibition after it closed. Most items on display will be duplicated as same as current layout and be moved to the third floor of the East Building of the Military Museum, showing as the basic exhibits for audience from the forthcoming September 1.
