Chinese naval vessel task force leaves Wellington for home


　　On the morning of October 15, the Chinese naval vessel task force wrapped up its friendly visit to Wellington, capital city of New Zealand, and headed for home.

　　The Chinese naval vessel task force set off from Qingdao on September 10 to make port visits to Sydney in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand successively, and the Chinese, Australian and New Zealand navies held a joint maritime search-and-rescue exercise in Tasman Sea area. On October 15, it left Wellington port for home via the South Pacific Ocean.

　　Mr. Smith, assistant commander of New Zealand Navy, working staff from the Chinese Embassy to New Zealand, representatives of the local overseas Chinese, Chinese nationals and Chinese students saw the Chinese naval vessel task force off at the port.
