Chinese and Indian navies hold joint exercise in Yellow Sea waters


  The Chinese navy and the visiting Indian naval task force successfully held a joint exercise in the Yellow Sea waters on April 16.

  The exercise formally started at 10:00 on the morning of April 16, and during the exercise "Qingdao" missile destroyer of the North China Sea Fleet of the PLA Navy and "INS RANA" missile destroyer and "INS RANJIT" missile destroyer of the Indian naval task force had drills of light communication, semaphore communication and formation changes, etc. The exercise lasted for nearly three hours and more than 1,000 Chinese and Indian naval officers and men participated in the exercise.

  After the joint exercise, the Indian naval task force left the Yellow Sea waters and headed for Russia for a visit.
