  The soldiers of the sixth peacekeeping detachment that China has sent to Liberia began their home journey on Apr. 20 after successfully completing their missions in this African country.

  The sixth peacekeeping detachment, 558 in total, is comprised of an engineer element, a transportation element from a group army under the Beijing Military Area Command and a medical element from the PLA No. 254 Hospital.

  The first batch of 300 members of the 558 Chinese peacekeeping soldiers returned to Beijing last Sunday.
