The 2nd batch of the 6th detachment of the Chinese peacekeeping troops to Liberia returned home at 18:00 on Apr. 30. Seen in the picture is the commander of the detachment Zheng Jianqing met by his wife and daughter at the Beijing International Airport.

　　Since arriving at the mission area in Liberia in August last year, the 6th Chinese peacekeeping detachment has completed perfectly their missions of material transportation, road and bridge construction and medical service. All the 558 officers and men of the detachment were awarded the UN First Class Peace Medal.
