　　The Beijing Military Dogs Breeding and Training Base (MDBTB), the largest one in Asia, owns many excellent military dog breeds, such as German Shepherd Dog, Labrador, Malinois, etc.

　　In all the important events held in Beijing, especially the World University Games in August 2001, the military dogs of this base made great contributions to the security inspection. In that lies the exact reason why they are brought in to do the security inspection of the Beijing Olympic Games.

　　This base has long begun to conduct special trainings for the military dogs based on the characteristics of the Olympic stadiums and gymnasiums to make sure that the missions entrusted by the Security Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG) are fulfilled satisfactorily and ensure the success of the Beijing Olympic Games.
