China and Russia are expected to sign a wide range of agreements during Chinese President Xi Jinping's upcoming visit to Russia. Russian officials say the agreements are expected to boost the common prosperity of Europe and Asia.
The Sino-Russian economic relationship has developed with momentum in recent years. Trade volume between the two countries exceeded 88 billion U.S. dollars in 2014 while China's investment in Russia quadrupled from 2008 to 2014. China's investment in Russia increased 14 percent year on year just in this year's first quarter.
