In Moscow, Russia is holding a parade to mark the end of World War Two in Europe 70 years ago. More than 16-thousand troops are participating, the largest military parade in Russian history. More than 140 aircraft performed a flyover in the Moscow skies, and nearly 200 armored vehicles rolled through Red Square.

Ten formations from other countries are also taking part the ceremony. The largest foreign contingent is from China, whose 102 troops from the army, navy and air force will march in 12 rows. This is the first time that the three branches of the Chinese People's Liberation Army are all taking part together in a Russian military parade.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, along with dozens of world leaders, observed the commemorations for what the Russians call Victory Day. We will bring you more on the event later in our program. Please stay tuned.
