General Song Shilun

　　　Born in 1899 in Hunan Province, and passed away on Sep.17, 1991 in Shanghai.

Song Shilun was conferred the rank of General in 1955.

A group photo of Chen Yi (first from left in the first row), Su Yu (second from right in the first row) and Song Shilun (first from right in the first row) at a rally celebrating the liberation of Shanghai.	During the period of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Song Shilun, commander and political commissar of the 9th Army Group of the Chinese People's Volunteers, was together with some comrades from the organ.
Song Shilun warmly welcomed Marshal Ye Jianying (former president of the Academy of Military Science) back at the 20th anniversary of the academy.	On the National Day of 1961, Song Shilun (fourth from left) was on the Tiananmen Rostrum.
