General Yang Chengwu
   Born in 1914 in Fujian Province.

Yang Chengwu was conferred the rank of General in 1955.



General Yang Chengwu was welcomed by officers and men when he went to a grass-roots unit to experience the life of an ordinary soldier in 1958. In the picture, a platoon leader was leading Yang Chengwu to his squad.
