General Yang Dezhi Born
in 1911 in Hunan Province, and passed away in 1994.
 Yang Dezhi was conferred the rank of General in 1955. |

Yang Dezhi, commander of the 1st Red Regiment. This picture was taken in Northern Shaanxi after the Long March. He posted the picture to his elder sister in the KMT occupied region, his sister hid it in the wall, and took it out after the liberation. |
