9月17日,《还人民一片净土——处理日本遗弃在华化学武器工作纪实展》在长春开幕。

CHANGCHUN, Sept. 18 (ChinaMil) -- "Reserve a Pure Land for the people - Exhibition on the Disposal of Japan's Abandoned Chemical Weapons in China", kicked off in Changchun, northeast China, on September 17, 2016.

此次展览由外交部处理日本遗弃在华化学武器问题办公室和国防部处理日本遗弃化学武器办公室联合主办

The exhibition was cosponsored by the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Disposal of Japan's Abandoned Chemical Weapons in China and the Office of the Ministry of National Defense for Disposal of Japan's Abandoned Chemical Weapons in China.

日本在华遗弃化学武器是日本军国主义犯下的严重罪行之一。

Japan's abandoned chemical weapons in China reveal one of the serious crimes committed by Japanese militarism.

据有关资料统计,侵华战争期间,日本军国主义对中国军民使用化学武器的地点遍及中国19个省、市、自治区,其中有确切时间、地点、伤亡人数记载的就达1241次,共造成我军民20多万人伤亡。

Statistics show that during Japan's aggression against China, Japanese troops launched numerous chemical attacks to Chinese soldiers and civilians in 19 Chinese provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and the time, location and casualty of 1,241 attacks were accurately recorded, which had caused Chinese injuries and deaths of more than 200,000.

制造了第一次世界大战之后,人类战争史上使用化学武器最频繁、最广泛、持续时间最长的一场化学战。

The Japanese troops' chemical war in China employed chemical weapons at the most frequent and extensive level, and lasted for the longest time in the history of human warfare after the World War I.

日本在华遗弃化学武器至今仍对我国有关地区人民生命财产和生态环境安全构成严重威胁和危害。

To this day, Japan's abandoned chemical weapons in China are still seriously threatening and endangering people's life, property and the ecological environment in relevant regions in China.

此次纪实展通过大量详实准确的史料和近千件图片、实物,揭露侵华日军使用化学武器的罪行。

With a large number of full and accurate historical data and about 1,000 pictures and physical exhibits, this exhibition exposes the Japanese invaders' crime of using chemical weapons.

展示处理日本遗弃化武工作的真实场景,展现了参与处理日遗化武工作人员不畏艰险、无私奉献、力争早日“还人民一片净土”的决心。

The exhibition displays the real scene of the disposal of Japan's abandoned chemical weapons, and showcases the fearlessness, selfless contribution and determination of "reserving a pure Land for the people" of the staff members who participate in the disposal of Japan's abandoned chemical weapons.

展览将持续到10月18日。

The Exhibition on the Disposal of Japan's Abandoned Chemical Weapons in China will last till October 18.
