BEIJING, Sept. 30 (ChinaMil) -- Several types of aircraft of the PLA Air Force flew over the Miyako Strait of Japan towards the West Pacific for training on Sept. 25.

When it comes to the intention and purpose of the PLA Air Force in choosing this time to conduct far-sea training, Yang Yujun, spokesman for China's Ministry of National Defense (MND) responded on Thursday that this is a regular training exercise not directing against any particular party or target.

"I'd like to emphasize that the Chinese military aircraft has the freedom of overflight in relevant airspace, and the operations of the Chinese side are legal and professional. "

"In the future, the PLA will continue to organize far-sea training according to the need of situation and tasks," Yang stressed.
