Chinese frigate Yancheng leaves Auckland for San Diego

参加庆祝新西兰海军成立75周年国际舰队检阅活动的中国海军盐城舰,圆满结束为期5天的奥克兰之行,于今天上午离开奥克兰港,前往美国圣迭戈进行友好访问。

AUKLAND, New Zealand, Nov. 22 (ChinaMil) --The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy's guided-missile frigate Yancheng (546) set sail from Auckland Harbor on the morning of Nov. 21, local time, heading for San Diego, the United States, for a friendly visit.

The Chinese naval frigate arrived in Auckland on Nov. 16, where it attended the International Naval Review on celebration of the Royal New Zealand Navy’s 75th founding anniversary.

上午10时,新西兰海军海上部队司令吉默及中国驻新西兰领馆工作人员、当地华人华侨代表来到温耶德码头为盐城舰官兵送行。

Among the people seeing off the Chinese frigate Yancheng at the Wynyard terminal were Commodore Jim Gilmour, maritime component commander of the Royal New Zealand Navy, personnel from the Chinese Consulate General in Auckland and representatives of local overseas Chinese.
