China bags two runner-ups at Police and Military Sniper World Cup

BUDAPEST, May 10 (ChinaMil) -- China won two runner-up prizes at the 15th Police and Military Sniper World Cup held in Budapest, Hungary. The three-day competition came to a close on Tuesday.

The competition consists of police and military groups in individual and group contests. There are 30 shooting subjects ranging from 60 to 900 meters in the competition.

China’s Zheng Jianjia and Bai Zhidi won the runner-up prize in the police group while Liu Jun and Zhu Jiahong won the runner-up in the military group.

The Ukrainian team won the championship of the individual and group races in the military group, and the Hungarian team won the championship of the individual and group races in the police group.

A total of 66 teams from 18 countries participated in the competition. China sent two teams and 12 members. Among them, eight are from the Snow Leopard Commando Unit of Chinese People's Armed Police Force in Beijing and four are from the Special Police Corps of the Tianjin Public Security Bureau.
