BEIJING, May 31 (ChinaMil) -- The Audit Office under China's Central Military Commission (CMC) has put into operation recently the military unit's bank account and expenditure supervision system, an application software developed by the Finance Bureau of the Logistic Support Department of the CMC for the joint supervision of the military financial and auditing departments over military unit’s banking accounts and expenditures.

The software will be used by financial and auditing departments of PLA's service-level units to achieve the real-time supervision of receipt and payment of the bank accounts and business card transactions of the whole military.

Targeting high risk points in the process of military unit financial transaction, the supervision system is able to analyze the real-time and historical transaction data, accurately locate and alert all kinds of abnormal transactions such as withdraw deposits in large amounts, abnormal flow of funds and the questionable expenditure of business cards and other unreasonable expenses.

The Logistics Support Department and Audit Office of CMC will strengthen coordination to establish the information interconnection mechanism in order to achieve joint supervision over military units' banking accounts and funds.
