BEIJING, June 19 (ChinaMil) -- China will host six competitions of the International Army Games 2017, and representatives of foreign militaries to participate in the six competitions gathered in Beijing on June 16 to have in-depth consultations with Chinese side on revision of competition rules, communication support, hardware transportation and delivery, events publicity and cultural activities.
Apart from China, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Angola, Egypt, South Africa and Morocco have confirmed to participate in the competitions hosted by the Chinese side.
According to the schedule, representatives of participating countries left Beijing for Xinjiang, Jilin and Hubei respectively on the afternoon of June 16 to make a field investigation of the competition venues, where they will be briefed of the general information of the venues and watch demos of the competitions. Afterwards, all parties will hold counterpart consultations on specific details and sign consultation minutes.
All the competition venues in China have convenient transportation for delivery of personnel and equipment of participating countries. In accordance with practice of international military competitions, the Chinese side will be responsible for making an overall arrangement and coordination of the railway, air and road transfer and direct delivery of military personnel and hardware of the participating countries inside the Chinese territory.
