Chinese Army to organize four events of International Army Games 2017

URUMUQI, June 30 (ChinaMil) -- The Chinese Army will organize four competitions of the International Army Games 2017 in Korla, China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, from July 29 to Aug. 12, 2017.

Participants from nine countries including China, Russia and Kazakhstan will take part in the events including "Suvorov Attack, Clear Sky, Safe Environment and Gunsmith Master".

International Army Games is an international military event hosted by the Russian defense ministry. This year the game is going to be co-organized by China, Azerbajian, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.

There will be weapon exhibitions and cultural exchange activities open for the public and soldiers from participating countries during the games.

The Chinese Army will also send teams to compete abroad in five events including "Tank Biathlon, Army Scout Masters, Sniper Frontier, Elbrus Ring and Maintenance Battalion".

Up to now, the Chinese participating teams have started to leave for the competitions abroad.
